Why AI is the future of website design.
Why AI is the future of website design.
As businesses began to need a digital presence, creating a website was a complex, lengthy and expensive process and required resources that not many small businesses could afford.
Building a website is less of a hurdle today, but a recent survey by RedShift Research revealed that over 50% of British micro businesses (five employees or less) don’t have a website.
Artificial intelligence and blockchain tech ‘could change our world’
It’s hard for most tech savvy entrepreneurs to comprehend that half of the UK’s smallest companies aren’t accessing a larger digital audience or even to better serve their local clientele.
In fact, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) cites the lack of online presence as one of the top three reasons for startups and small businesses to fail.
Surprisingly the same issue is present in the United States. The U.S. Small Business Administration says that more than half of the nation’s 28 million small businesses do not have a website or a social media account, and about half use digital tools to help with their business accounting.
Why?
The question is why, in this day and age, is their still such a big barrier to create digital branding and businesses?
It’s clear that a lot of these small businesses have little time to develop a website themselves or adequate budget to afford a web designer to do it for them, not to mention the design and content creation skills.
Perhaps they still think that a digital presence requires coding skills or even struggle with the confidence to launch their businesses onto a potentially global playing field.
AI
This is where we believe that the introduction of AI tools will make a difference.
Building a website in the future will be like opening an Instagram account.
Simply answer a few questions, point the machine in the right direction and it will do the rest based on what it learns about you, your business, your style and your existing digital presence.
Currently AI may be more commonly associated with robotics but it’s when its applied to digital data and design it becomes really exciting and the benefits very obvious and impactful for huge numbers of customers.
Artificial intelligence is not just the future of website design, by the end of this decade, AI will be part of our everyday life, whether it’s helping to build a website, drive cars, predict the weather, fight cyber terrorism or even helping us to lead healthier and lives.
I am excited to see the innovation in this space and particularly for business applications. The positive effect this technology will have on growth potential and working efficiency will be immeasurable.
